The role: Enterprise Small Business Sales Engineering and Deployment Specialist (French)
As a Deployment Specialist on the Google Apps Mid Market team you'll help small to mid-size businesses transition to Google Apps for Business. You'll be responsible for supporting the SMB customers (and Universities) for the EMEA region. You'll address the technical and cultural challenges of moving an organization's data into the cloud and onto Google Apps. You'll serve as part sales engineer, part technical implementation expert and part project manager. You'll act as a crucial lynchpin in our operation, working with our marketing, sales and support teams and focusing on accelerating the deployment cycle while driving customer satisfaction. You are a confident, polished presenter with a keen interest in Google Apps and a commitment to providing companies and schools with the best possible Google Apps experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical solutions and advisory services and project manage IT administrators who are responsible for transitioning their company onto Google Apps.
- Manage a pipeline of Google Apps customers that are transitioning to Google Apps.
- Assist sales team and third party consultants, as needed, to accelerate sales cycle.
- Develop and implement processes and infrastructure to scale deployment operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Experience in the technology industry, ideally in corporate IT or product development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and strategic-thinking skills.
- Familiarity with Exchange, Lotus Notes, Active Directory, or Blackberry Enterprise Server and web technologies (HTML, XML, HTTP)
- Fluency in written and spoken French as well as fluency in written and spoken English
