Job Description

Facebook is seeking to fill a position to join the Finance team, responsible for Finance Planning & Analysis, including budgeting, variance analysis, financial modeling and monitoring financial performance. The successful candidate will thrive with minimal guidance in a dynamic and fast-paced environment by creating thoughtful analysis and implementing reporting to help provide investment level insight as well as specific by line-item detail to key stakeholders across the company. This is a full-time position located in our International headquarters in Dublin.

Responsibilities
  • Establish a small team & function with a view to developing & delivering budgeting and analysis excellence to a rapidly growing regional organization
  • Gather, consolidate and analyze operating and financial results, including analysis of budget vs. actual, monthly trends and other expense drivers
  • Help improve and implement robust budgeting and reporting process by working closely with AP & Accounting teams as well as business partners
  • Work as part of a cross functional & regional teams on long range planning
  • Develop and implement effective regional cost control reporting and triggers
  • Serve as key liaison between Accounting team and Operations Finance team
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects for senior management including presentations and key analysis
  • Investment Appraisal Analysis
  • Other project work as directed.

Desired Skills & Experience

Requirements
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent from a leading undergraduate institution and a top academic performer, full accounting qualification desirable
  • Effective at building strong relationships with people across all levels of the organization with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to communicate and translate complex financial information
  • Demonstrated people management and mentoring capability
  • 5+ years financial planning and analysis experience from a multinational organization, technology sector desirable
  • Excellent analytical and modeling skills with significant system experience
  • Oracle, Hyperion, Essbase, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task with limited supervision
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and tight deadlines
